SellingYour Screenplay.com

When SellingYourScreenplay.com launched in early 2009 my main focus was in trying to help people sell their screenplay. The assumption was that they already had a good screenplay and just needed help selling it. Since then I’ve published many articles about how to sell your screenplay and created many tools for screenwriters. Many people have found success using my screenplay marketing guide but many people haven’t. What I’ve realized is that many people still need help getting their screenplay up to a professional level.
So I’ve launched Selling Your Screenplay Select, a host of premium services to try and help screenwriters get to the next level.
By joining Selling Your Screenplay Select you will be taking the first step towards a professional career as a screenwriter. Through this program you will learn how to write a professional level, marketable screenplay. And once you’ve written the screenplay, you will learn how to sell it and begin your career as a professional screenwriter.
Here is brief summary of the materials, features, services, and tools that you get by joining Selling Your Screenplay Select:
Online Coaching and Mentoring
Questions Answered in Our Screenwriting Forum – If you have any questions about screenwriting, by joining Select you will have access to our screenwriting forum where you can ask as many questions as you’d like and they will be answered by me, Ashley Scott Meyers, a produced screenwriter with real credits. With years of experience writing and selling screenplays, I can start answering your questions today.
Questions Answered During Our Monthly Conference Call – Each month I will answer your questions via a live conference call. Select members are encouraged to listen in on the monthly conference calls even if they don’t have any specific questions so that they can learn from other people’s questions. All monthly conference calls are recorded and available for members to listen to, or re-listen to, later.
In addition, during each conference call I will be talking about current screenwriting trends as well as up-to-date information on what’s working for my successful students, screenwriting peers, and myself. Anyone who’s serious about becoming a professional screenwriter won’t want to to miss these monthly live events.
Also, all conference calls will be recorded and available to Select members to replay at their convenience.
Between the forum and the live conference call, you can ask any screenwriting related questions you have, from trivial beginner questions all the way up to the most advanced screenwriting questions, and they will be answered. Many people get bogged down with questions that could be easily answered by a professional. By joining Select you won’t be one of them.

Also, inside our forum, there are dozens of critiqued log lines that you can read over and learn from.
The log line is the single most important tool you have in selling your screenplay, so having a good one is essential. By joining Select you’ll be confident that your log line is as good as it can be.
