Sun slowly creeping across deep dark-blue sky. Planes MOTOR CRANKS over filling the compartment. CAMERA TRACKS inside the plane’s cockpit, briefly noticing a YOUNG WOMAN wearing a pair of ray-ban’s on over her eye's,an headset, over her head all while holding the plane controls, KAREN KATHLEEN, 17, care free, "edge of the seat type", "head in the clouds", daydreamer, pretty young thing, high-yellow, bi-racially-mixed. CAMERA TRACKS to front of planes on the co-pilot. Rear of the cockpit a MAN with headset on -- WINWORTH RIGHT, a skinny toothpick of a man late 50’s, screaming instructions.
The PLANE loops, into a tailspin, cockpit flips and rolls, looping end over end. Plane TILTS up and CLIMBS EVEN HIGHER.
CAMERA ON WINWORTH
WINWORTH
(into headset)
Where the sam hell are you going? Can... you... hear me? What’s going on up there?
The plane turns downward descends over a farm, releasing it’s payload over the fields below. CUT TO --
WINTORTH
What are you doing? Pull it up now! Or I’ll end this little joyride right now.
EXT/INT. HANGAR - DAY
Plane PACES THE runway stops near an open hangar’s door. SOUND of the engine’s cutting off. Karen JUMPS, down the wing. Her face aglow with a radiant smile.
WINWORTH’S POV - ON KAREN
WINWORTH
Next time, you pull a damn stunt like that -- I’ll ground your ass faster than you can say “sit and shit”.
Karen runs off towards the farmhouse. JUMP CUT TO --
INT. KATHLEEN RANCH - DAY
Karen runs into the house upstairs and straight into the shower. JUMP CUT TO --
